As soon as I found out I texted and messaged the tour operator to let them know. Then cancelled in Viator. I asked the tour operator if we could transfer a credit to a different arrival day - though I hadn’t even been able to rebook my flight yet. They had plenty of notice and this didn’t affect their driver at all. Their response was that they saw our flight wasn’t cancelled and therefore the booking was still on. Outrageous! I could not go up to rim of volcano, nor could I go to some places in Pompeii, but this were minor misses. Our guide in Pompeii was very knowledgeable and accommodating. Our visit to the winery was lovely and the meal and wine were great. We ranged in ages from 14 to 76, and everyone enjoyed!”

“I am so grateful I found this shuttle transfer, I was flying alone and it was my first time flying into Naples and needed to travel to sorrento to meet with family. I was nervous as my Italian is not the best but my contact at the tour place had sent me a what's app the day prior, texted me to make sure I found the shuttle bus, and when I was a bit lost exiting the airport had reassured me with great directions and comforted me. “Terrible there was no flexibility when our flight was cancelled.. As soon as we were informed we contacted the tour company as we rebooked our flight and arrived 2 hours later. Because we were within our 24 hours we were told they were sorry but there was nothing they could do. We were offered no alternative or solution just a “sorry”. And no refund or discount. I could understand if I created the cancellation but this was completely outside of my control.”
