“An excellent option as a tour to pack as much into your break if you are there for a short amount of time; being able to see the ruins, have a guided tour around the main areas of Pompeii, being taken to Mount Vesuvius and also lunch with a choice of pasta, pizza (freshly cooked) or salad with a drink was such good value for money and was a fantastic day out; especially if you have children with you as the time at the Pompeii is enough and then the adventure of climbing the volcano!”

We had about an hour and a half. It took us about an hour to go up and 15 minutes to go down. I would definitely do this again.”

However, when we experienced delays in meeting our tour group ( due to canceled and late trains to meeting point) the company was very responsive and communicative to our questions and attempts to catch up with the tour when we were able to join. The company coordinated the meeting point and kept in communication with us to the extent possible to follow up with our joining the group! The timrline says approximately 7 hrs it was more like 8 which really made me feel rushed as I was on a cruise ship. At Pompeii we had a meal them too much down time this could have been used traveling to vesuvius and gotten us back earlier.
