He shared first hand knowledge with us, and has picture guide props that helped tell the story of Vesuvius vs Herculaneum. His English was easy to understand. Lots of ground is covered in a 2 hour tour, we felt we saw quite a bit! Your all-day admission is included in the 2 hour tour price, so you’re welcome to enjoy all of Herculaneum at your own pace after the tour. “This private tour with Antonio was a fantastic way to learn some amazing history about Napoli. He was so knowledgeable, friendly and engaging. Even had my daughter's engaged the whole day. Sadly it was cloudy by the time we got to Mt Vesuvius, so we couldn't see inside the crater, but nevertheless, it was still an amazing experience. I'd suggest doing Vesuvius in the morning when clouds are clear. Highly recommend this tour !”

“We were very pleased with our visit. It was not clear where the audiophile stand was and caused some confusion for the ticket office but we got there in the end. Audio guide was informative but would have been good if we could have paired our bluetooth headphones with the device. Herculaneum was a lovely place to visit, well preserved and was nice to see after visiting Pompeii.”

So many other tours were with large groups and it was difficult in some buildings for all those people to see the important site in the building while the guide was talking. We had none of those problems in our small group. We learned so much about Herculaneum and saw so many unique points. Carmela was our tour leader and met us at the pick up point. She also shared a lot of information with us on the drive. The entire experience was very worthwhile.”
