He shared first hand knowledge with us, and has picture guide props that helped tell the story of Vesuvius vs Herculaneum. His English was easy to understand. Lots of ground is covered in a 2 hour tour, we felt we saw quite a bit! Your all-day admission is included in the 2 hour tour price, so you’re welcome to enjoy all of Herculaneum at your own pace after the tour. We can’t wait to come back and take another tour with Luciano!”

“Kler was an excellent guide and our driver did a fantastic job of navigating the perilous track up and down the mountain. The stop at the limoncello shop was well worth it and the opportunity to hike to the crater if Vesuvius was fantastic. Lunch was delicious and the whole day was excellent value for money.”

“Exchanging the voucher was much easier than I expected. The stand is the Vox stand in front of the cameo factory in Piazza Esedra right at the excavations entrance. We had the fast track entry and it really was -we went right in. I didn't take the time (and was't sure how strong my data signal was) to download the audio guide but I did that after my time in the excavations and enjoyed the descriptions. The audioguide was not a planned itinerary, just a description of various sites. You need a map.”

“Tours are very time specific and are not altered based on individual delays. However, when we experienced delays in meeting our tour group ( due to canceled and late trains to meeting point) the company was very responsive and communicative to our questions and attempts to catch up with the tour when we were able to join. The company coordinated the meeting point and kept in communication with us to the extent possible to follow up with our joining the group! Additionally, Roberta, the tour guide, was welcoming, informative, and extremely knowledgable for the part of the tour we were able to be present for!”
